Hi Sir / Madam

Let the length and breadth be 3x and 1x

Perimeter = 2 × ( L + B )

36 = 2 × ( 3x + x )

36 = 2 × 4x

x = 36 / 8

x = 4.5 cm = Breadth

Length = 3x = 3 × 4.5 = 13.5 cm

let the length be 3x

and breadth be x

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

perimeter of rectangle = 2(length+ breadth)

perimeter of rectangle = 2(3x+x)

Now,

36 = 2(4x)

36 = 8x

36/8 = x

4.5 cm = x

Then,

breadth  = 4.5 cm

Length = 3*4.5 = 13.5cm

 i hope this will  help you
