formula for the perimeter of a rectangle is 2(l + b)

➡ 2(l + b) = 220m

➡ 2(7x + 4x) = 220m

➡ 7x + 4x = 220/2

➡ 11x = 110m

➡ x = 110/11

➡ x = 10m

hence,

length of the rectangular field = 7x

= 7 × 10

= 70m

breadth of the rectangular field = 4x

= 4 × 10

= 40m
