Answer:

Let ratio of length and breadth be 3x:2x

Then ratio of length=3x

Length = 12 m. (Given)

then,3x=12

x=12/3=4

Then breadth= 2x=2*4=8

Perimeter= 2(l+b)=2(12+8)

=2*20=40m

Answer:

40 m

Given:

Ratio of Length and breadth=3:2

Length of room=12 m

To find:

Perimeter of the room

Solution:-

Let the length and breadth be 3x and 2x respectively

Length=12m ( given in question)

So;

3x = 12

x =  \frac{12}{3}

x = 4 \: m

Breadth=2 ×4

=8 m

We know that

Perimeter=2(l+b)

=2(12+8)

=2(20)

=40 m

-----------------------

Perimeter=40 m
