Answer:

ratio of l and b =3:2

area=150 cm

let length=3x

let breadth =2x

area = l*b

area=3x*2x

area=6x²

150=6x²

150/6=x²

25=X²

x=√25

x=5

length=3(5)=15, 2(5)= 10

so perimeter =2(l+b)

2(15+10) =50cm

\bf{\blue{\underline{Given-}}}

  • Ratio of length and breadth => 3:2
  • Area of rectangle => 150 cm²

\bf{\blue{\underline{Steps-}}}

let\:the\:common\:multiple\:be\:x

==||> Area of rectangle = l x b

==||>                  3x x 2x = 150

==||>                          5x = 150

==||>                             x = \dfrac{150}{5}

==||>                             x = 30 cm

Length = 3x = 3 x 30 = 90 cm

Breadth = 2x = 2 x 30 = 60 cm

==||> Perimeter = 2(l + b)

==||> 2(90 + 60)

==||> 2 x 150

==||> 300 cm

∴ the perimeter will be 300 cm.

Hope it helps...
