lenght and breadth = 3:1

let lenght = 3x

and breadth = 1x

perimeter = 36 cm

but peremeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

so 36 = 2(3x+1x)

8x = 36

x = 36/8

x = 4.5

so b = 4.5 cm

then l = 3×4.5 = 13.5cm
