Given ratio of length and breath

3:1

Let assumed
Length is 3 and breath 1

So perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

=2(3+1)=8
But according to question it is 36cm
So 1 unit assumed =36/8=4.5

Then Length =3x4.5=13.5cm

Breath =4.5cm
This is ur ans hope it will help you in case of any doubt comment below

Let length and breadth be 3x and x.
2(l+b)=36cm
2(3x+x)=36cm
8x=36cm
x=36/8
x=4.5cm
length=3*4.5=13.5cm
breadth=x=4.5cm.
HOPE OT HELPS YOU.
