The ratio of length, breadth and height of a cuboid is 3 : 2 : 1. If the volume of the cuboid is 48 m cube, find the base area of the cuboid.​

Let the length be 3x , breadth be 2x and height be x.

ATQ,

3x × 2x × x = 48

6x^3 = 48

x^3 = 48/6

x^3 = 8

x = 2

Therefore, length = 6m , breadth = 4m and height = 2m

Base area = 6 × 4

= 24 m^2
