Let the length and width be 7a and 4a respectively

Perimeter = 2 (7a + 4a)

=> 88 = 2 × 11a

=> 22a = 88

=> a = 4

Length = 7 × 4 = 28 cm

Width = 4 × 4 = 16 cm
