Given, the height of tower = 10√3 m

Point of rod on the ground = 30 m

If we assume the angle made by the rod with the tower to be Ф, we know that tan Ф = (height of tower)/(point of rod on the ground)

Substituting values, we get tan Ф = 10√3 /30 = 1/√3

tan 30 = 1/√3, so now we know that the angle is 30.

To find, (length of rod) : (length of tower) = 1/sin 30 = 2 : 1
