12 years later their ages will be (6x+12) and (7x+12)
After 12 years their ratio will be 12(6x+12) : 13(7x+12)
According to Question,
13(6x+12) = 12(7x+12)
=> 13(6x+12) = 12(7x+12)
=> 78x + 156 = 84x + 144
=> 156 - 144 = 84x -78x
=> 12 = 6x
=> 12/6 = x
=> x = 2
Madhu's present age = 6*2
= 12
Meena's present age = 7*2
= 14
∴ Madhu's present age is 12 and Meena's present age is 14
