Ravi and Arjun have 30 and 70 marbles respectively.

Given,

The ratio of marble available with Ravi and Arjun = 3:7

The total marbles = 100

To Find,

The number of marble with both of them =?

Solution,

Let x be a number such that

The number of marbles Ravi has = 3x

The number of marbles Arjun has = 7x

The sum of these marbles = 100

3x + 7x = 100

10x = 100

x = 100 / 10

x = 10

The number of marbles Ravi has = 3x = 3 x 10 = 30

The number of marbles Arjun has = 7x = 7 x 10 = 70

Hence, the number of marble with Ravi and Arjun have are 30 and 70 respectively.
