Step-by-step explanation:

let the ratio be 3x:7x

3x+7x=100

Given :-

  • Ratio of Marbles available with Ravi and Arjun is 3:7
  • And their sum is 100

To find :-

  • Total no.of marbles with both of them

Solution :-

Let us consider ,

No.of marbles available with Ravi is 3x

No.of marbles available with Arjun is 7x

As we know their sum is 100 So,

3x + 7x = 100

10x = 100

x =100/10

x = 10

So, No.of marbles available with Ravi is 3x

= 3(10)

= 30

No.of marbles available with Arjun is 7x

= 7(10)

= 70

So, Ravi has 30 marbles with him and Arjun has 70 marbles with him

Verification:-

Hence we got no.of marbles with them Their sum should be 100

So,

30 + 70 = 100

100 = 100

LHS = RHS
