꧁༆ 11.2 L ༆꧂

Chemical reaction involved is:

CaCO3→CaO+CO2

Molar mass of CaCO3=40+12+16×3=100 g

According to the balanced reaction 100 g of CaCO3 produces 1 mol of CO2 i.e. 22.4 L at STP.

∴50 g CaCO3 will produce 10022.4×50=11.2 L CO2 at STP.
