So 45 liters at 2:1 Is

Milk - 30: Water - 15

we know that no further milk was added only water so in order for the ratio to become 2:1 the total quantity of water must be double that of milk

30/(1/3) = 90

Milk - 30 Water - 60

so the added water is (60-15) 45 liters

Answer:

5/2

Step-by-step explaination:

The quantity of milk and wafter be 7x and 2x

so total = 7x +2x = 9x

amount of milk = 7x/9x * 45

= 35 litres

hence amount of water = 45-35 = 10 litres

amount of water added = 4 litre

total amount of water = 10+4 = 14 litres

new ratio = 35/14 = 5/2
