Answer:

Let the monthly income be 11m

Let the savings be 2m

Let the expenditure be 11m-2m = 9m

ATQ

Savings + expenditure = monthly income

2500 + 9m = 11m

2500 = 11m-9m

2500 = 2m

2500/2 = m

1250 = m

therefore, monthly income = 11m = Rs 13750

expenditure = 13750 - 2500 = Rs 11250
