Answer:  Aman's annual income is 210,000 rupee.

Anil's saving is  24,000

Aman's saving is 70,000

Step-by-step explanation:

Since, The ratio of Mr. Anil's monthly income to expenditure is 5:4,

Let Anil's monthly income = 5x and his expenditure = 4x

Where x is any number.

Similarly, Let Aman's monthly income = 3y and expenditure = 2y

Where y is any number.

According to the question,

4% of 3y = 7% of 5x

12 y = 35x

Anil's monthly expenditure = 96,000 rupees

That is, 4 x = 96,000

x = 24,000

⇒ 12 y = 35 × 24000

⇒ y = 70,000

Thus, Aman's annual income = 3 × 70,000 = 210,000 rupee.

Anil's saving = 5x - 4x = x = 24,000

Aman's saving = 3y - 2y = y = 70,000

Question

The ratio of Mr. Anil's monthly income to Expenditure is 5 : 4. For Mr. Aman the same figure is 3 : 2 .Also 4% of Aman's monthly income is equal to 7% of Anil's monthly income. If Anil's monthly expenditure is 96,000 rupees then what is Aman's annual income and Savings made by Mr. Anil and Mr. Aman ?

Given

  • The ratio of Mr. anil's monthly income to expenditure is 5 : 4.
  • For Mr. Aman the same figure is 3 : 2. also 4% of Aman's monthly income is equal to 7% of Anil's monthly income.

Required to Find

What is the Aman's annual income and Savings made by Mr. Anil and Mr. Aman ?

Solution

We know that savings = income - Expenditure

•Anil's income to expenditure 5 : 4

•Aman's income to expenditure 3 : 2

•Suppose Anil's income is 5x

•Suppose Aman's income 3y

•Anil's expenditure is 4x

•Aman's expenditure is 2y

Anil's monthly income is 9600 rupees,

5x = 9600

x = 1920

Monthly expenditure = 4x = 4 × 1920 = 7680 rupees.

Anil's monthly expenditure is 7860 rupees

therefore, Anil's saving is 1920 rupees.

4% of Aman's income = 7% of Anil's income

 \sf \implies \dfrac{4}{100}  \times 3y = 9600 \times  \dfrac{7}{100}

 \sf \implies12y = 9600 \times 7

 \sf\implies \: y =  \dfrac{9600 \times 7}{12}  = 5600

Aman's income = 3y = 3 × 5600 = 16,800 rupees

Aman's expenditure = 2y = 2 × 5600 = 11,200 rupees

Therefore, Aman's savings = 16,800 - 11,200 = 5,600 rupees.

Aman's monthly income is Rupees 16,800 and Aman's saving is Rupees 5,600

Anil's monthly savings is 1,920 rupees
