Let the common factor be x

:. The monthly income = 10x

And expenditure = 7x

:. The amount saved in a month = 10x - 7x =3x

Therefore,

10x = 500Rs.

:. x = 50 Rs

:. The amount saved per month =(3* 50) Rs

= 150Rs.
