The ratio of number of boys and girls in a village schoolwas 15:1 but due to pricipal's effort the ratio came to 7:5. Now, the present strength of boys is 8 more than the strength of girls. What is the total strength of students in school ?

2x=8
x=8/2
x=4
7x=7×4=28
5x=5×4=20
Total students=28+20=48
