Number of boys : Number of girls

Total Number of parts = 2 + 3 = 5

Thus , (2/5) th of the class are boys (3/5) th of the class are girls.

Therefore,

Percentage of boys = (2/5 × 100) % = 40 %

Percentage of girls = (3/5 × 100) % = 60 %
