Answer:

24

Step-by-step explanation:

The ratio of number of defective bulbs to number of non-defective bulbs in a box 2 :   5

Sum of ratio is 2+5=7

Number of Defective blubs = 2/7

Number of Non-Defective bulbs = 5/7

If each box has 21 bulbs inside.

Total number of defective bulbs = (2/7)×21

=2×3

=6

Total Number of Non-Defective bulbs= (21-6) = 15

The number of defective bulbs for 4 such boxes are 4×6 =24

There are 24 defective bulbs for 4 such boxes.
