Step-by-step explanation:

Let the rational between mango trees and chickoo trees be x

Thus, the number of mango tree are 2x and of the chickoo trees are 3x

If 5 more trees of each type are planted , the ratio of trees would be 5:7

On anting 5 more trees if 5 each types, mango trees will be 2x + 5 and chickoo trees will be 3x + 5 , and their ratio would be 5:7. Accordingly

2x + 5 / 3x + 5 = 5/7

Cross multiplication

5( 3x + 5) = 7 ( 2x + 5)

15x + 25 = 14x + 35

15x - 14x = 35 - 25

x = 10

The rational is 10 Thus number of mango trees are 2x = 2 × 10 = 20 mango trees

The number of chickoo trees are 3x = 3 × 10 = 30 chickoo trees.
