Step-by-step explanation:

Let the quantity of orange juice in the drink be 4x and the quantity of lemonade be 5x

Then,

4x+5x=36

9x=36

x=4

Therefore,(4 x 4)=16l of orange juice and (5 x 4)=20l of lemonade is required to make the drink

Answer:

16l of orange juice and 20 l of lemonade

explanation: We have to take it in terms of x

So since the orange juice and lemonade are in the ratio 4:5, we can say that

The amount of Orange Juice in the mixture is = 4x

The amount of Lemon juice in the mixture is = 5x

Now, we know that the total amount of juice is 36 Liters

So , we can say that: Toatal amount of juice = amount of orange juice + amount of lemon juice

Therefore, 36 liters =  4x+ 5x

36= 9x

x=4 liters

Now we plug in 4 into the ratio so amount of Orange juice = 4x=4*4=16L

Amount of Lemon juice = 5x= 5*4= 20L
