Hey friend, Harish here.

Here is your answer:

Given that,

Area of trapezium = 320 cm².

Ratio of parallel side = 2:3

Height = 16 cm

To find,

The length of parallel sides.

Solution,

Let the length of parallel sides be '2x'  & '3x'.

We know that,

Area\ of \ trapezium= \frac{1}{2} \times height (Sum\ of\ parallel\ sides)

⇒ 320 =  \frac{1}{2} \times 16 (2x +3x) = 8\times  (5x)

⇒ 5x =  \frac{320}{8} = 40

⇒ x =  \frac{40}{5} =8.

Therefore parallel side are;  2x = 2 × 8 = 16 cm.

                                             3x = 3 × 8 = 24 cm.
