Let the age of A be 3x
and the age of B be x .
5years ago the age of A = 3x- 5
5years ago the age of B = x-5
3x-5/x-5 = 14/11
11(3x-5) = 14(x-5)
33x-55=14x-70
33x-14x= -70+55
19x= -15
x= -15 / 19
present age of A = -15/19×3= -45/19
Present age of B= -15/19×1= -15/19
