The ratio of present ages of Amar and Akbar is 6:7. After 5 years sum of their ages will be 75 . Find their present ages?

Let Amar's present age be 6x,

Akbar's present age be 7x

After 5 years..

Age of amar =(6x+5)yrs

Age of amar = (7x+5)yrs

6x+5+7x+5 = 75

or, 13x + 10 = 75

or, 13x = 65

or, x = 5

Age of amar = (6×5)=30yrs

Age of akbar = (7×5) = 35yrs
