let the age of husband is x yr and the age of wife is y yrs.
now
x/y=5/4
or 4x=5y
or x=5y/4--------1eqn
after 20 yrs
age of husband {x+20}
age of wife{y+20}
now ratio=x+20/y+20
from 1
5y/4+20/y+20
=5y+20y/y/y+20(after taking LCM)
then just solve it hope it helps

Answer:
13/10 (out of the options provided)
Step-by-step explanation:
The only way this can be solved according to me is by observing the options. It should be known that as the ages decrease, the ratio will increase. So choose the most appropriate answer accordingly. The same method can be applied if the questions asks for ratio '20 years hence'.
