The ratio of present ages of Rangitha and Shaheen is 6:5. After 12 years the ratio of their ages will be 7:6. What is Rangitha's present age?

let the present ages of Rangitha and Shaheen be 6x and 5x respectively.

their age after 12 yrs= 6x+12 and 5x+12

ATQ, their age after 12 yrs will be 7x and 6x.

so, 7x=6x+12

7x-6x=12

x=12

therefore, Rangitha's present age is 12*6=72

C) 72 is the correct option
