Here is your solution

Given :-

ratio of the present age of two brothers A and B (let) is 1:2

5 year ago it becomes ratio 1:3

present age of A and B is x and 2x

A/q

=>x -5/2x -5= 1/3
=>3(x-5)= 2x-5
=>3x-15 = 2x-5
=>3x-2x =-5+15
=>x=10

Hence

present age A=x=10 years

present age of B=2x=2×10=20years

ratio of their ages after 5 years

Age A=x=10 years +5 years=15 years

Age of B=2x=2×10=20years +5 years=25years

Ration after 5 year =15/25=3/5=3:5

Hope it helps you
