Let the radius of first cylinder be 1x (R)

Let the radius of second cylinder be root 3 x (r)

Let the height of first cylinder be 2y (H)

Let the height of second cylinder be 3 y (h)

Therefore ratio of the volumes of the two cylinders=

Volume of first cylinder divided by volume of second cylinder

= πR^2H\πr^2h

=x^2.2y\x^2
