Heya ☺

Given that

ratio of radius of two circles = 3:4

Ratio of their areas = ?

Solution

Area of a circle = πr^2

Ratio of their areas = πR^2/πr^2

= π × 3 × 3/π × 4 × 4

= π × 9/π × 16

= 9/16

= 9:16
