By the law

Rate of diffusion of gases is inversely proportional to the root of their densities

(D1/D2)^1÷2= R2/R1

Since D=m/v

m- molar mass of gas. ,v - volume

D1&D2 -density

R1 &R2- diffusion rates

For same volume ,

R1/R2 = (m2/m1)^1÷2

(1/5 )^2= m2/16

16/25 =m2
