The ratio of red marbles to green marbles is 2:5. It there are 12 red marbles, how many green marbles are there?

Therefore the decimal form of both marble is 0.285.. = 0.29 and 0.714… = 0.71

In the same way there are total 12 marbles

Now the decimal form of red marble is 0.29 so 0.29 * 12 = 3.48 & decimal form of green marble is 0.71 so 0.71 * 12 = 8.52 .

Therefore by taking approx the ratio of red and green marble is 3.48 = 3 & 8.52 = 9

= 3: 9

There are total 9 green marble .
