The ratio of son's age to his father's age 1:4.if Father's age is 36, then find son's age

let son's age be x so by the ratio given 1:4
Father's age would be 4x

So if father is 4times his son's age which is 36

we could find son's age
so son's age would be 4times less than his father's age
so 36/4=9

Here comes the age of son which is 9
