The ratio of students liking maths,
science and social science in class is given as
5: 3:2. Find:
(a) The number of students who like maths in a class of 70 students.
(b) The total number of students in the class, if the number of students liking social
science is 18.​

a} 5 × 100 => 50

10

50 student like math

b} 3 × 100 => 30

10

2 × 100 => 20

10

Total student = 50 + 20 + 30

=> 100
