therefore summit's money = 3y

& Raman's money = 5y

acc. to given condition

Raman spend 350 ₹

= 5y-350 .......(1)

sumit earned 250 ₹

= 3y + 250 .......(2)

from 1&2

5y-350 = 3y+250

5y-3y = 350+ 250

2y = 600

y=600/2

y= 300

therefore Raman's money at first =5y

= 5(300)

=1500₹.
