let side of first cube be 'a' and of second cube be 'b'

surface area of a cube is 4 * side

4a/4b = 1/9
a/b = 1/9

volume of a cube is (side)^3

so a^3/b^3 = (1/9)^3 = 1/729

hope it helps!

Meghasyam: Actually it should be TSA right?
Meghasyam: Normally when they say surface area,it's actually TSA
humanbeing1234: what is the answer?
adithya02: wait a min my ans is wrong sorry
adithya02: its 1:27 all right
adithya02: coz surface area of cube is 6a^2 not 4a
humanbeing1234: yeah
humanbeing1234: can you answer my second question ?
