ratio of father = 2x

ratio of son = x

10 year ago

ratio of father = 5x

and ratio of son = 2x

ten year ago

(2x-10)/(x-10) = 5/2

==> 4x-20 = 5x-50

==> -x = -30

==> x = 30

so, 2x = 2(30) ==> 60

answer = 30 and 60

father age = 60 and son age = 30
