ANSWER

Step by Step

Present Age of Mother be M

present Age of Son be S

Their Age Ratio is M : S = 6:1

After Two years Their Ages are Ratio

(M+2) : (S+2) = 13:3

Let Simply Equation

M/S = 6/1

M = 6S / 1

M+2 / S+2 = 13/3

6S + 2 / S+2 = 13/3

13S + 26 = 18S + 6

18S - 13S = 26 - 6

5S = 20

S = 20/5

S = 4

place the Values in Equation

M / S = 6 / 1

M / 4 = 6 / 1

M = 4 × 6

M = 24

Age of Mother and son two years earlier

M = 22

S = 2

Their Ages Ratio M / S = 22 / 2

M : S = 11 : 1
