The ratio of the ages of a father and son is 17:7 respectively. Six years ago the ratio of their ages was 3:1 respectively. What is the son’s present age? ​

17x-6/7x-6=3/1

on solving this we get x=3

so the present age of father and son=17x&7x

=17×3. &7×3

=51. &. 21
