Let x be the common multiple.

So, Arun's age will be 5x

Brahma's age will be 4x.

Charl's age will be 3x.

According to the condition,

4x = 28

x= 28÷ 4

x = 7

5x = 5 × 7 = 35

4x= 4× 7= 28

3x = 3× 7= 21

Sum of ages of three persons= 35+28+21= 84
