Let the ratio be 2x:3x
If 30 added,
(2x+30)/3x = 3/2
Cross multiply,
2(2x+30) = 3x*3
4x +60 = 9x
60 = 9x -4x
60= 5x
60/5 =x
12 = x
Then,
2*12 = 24, there were 24 apples to n the basket
I hope this will help you
