Answer:

Let the height of the second triangle be h'

then

since bases are same

area of first triangle = 1/2 × b × h

= 1/2 × b × 9

= 9b/2

area of second triangle = 1/2 × b × h'

= bh'/2

According to the question

=>(9b/2)/(bh'/2) = 6/5

=> 9/h' = 6/5

=>h' = 9×5/6

=>h' = 15/2

=>h' = 7.5

Hence the height of the second triangle is 7.5
