And,

The height of 2nd traingle be m

Area of traingle = 1/2 ×base ×height

Area of 1st traingle = 1/2×2×k

Area of 2nd traingle = 1/2×m×k

1/2×2×k / 1/2×m×k = 4/5

By simplifying

2/m = 4/5

By cross multiplication we get:

4m = 10

m = 10/4

m = 2.5cm
