The perimeter of square is given that
48 cm and rectangle is 48 cm
4s = 48
S=12 = side

Let the quantity in ratio be x
So
8x=area of rectangle
9x=area of square = 12*12=144
X=16
So area of rectangle will be 8 *16
128
Lb=128
2l+2b=48
B=128/l
2*128/l +2*l=48
256/l+2l=48
256+2lsq/l=48
256+2lsq=48 L
(128+Lsq)=24l
Lsq=24l-128

nishartk2007p9sdlo: how you find the area of rectangle=8*16 .........plzzzzzzz explain
nishartk2007p9sdlo: So area of rectangle will be 8 *16
128
Lb=128
2l+2b=48
B=128/l
2*128/l +2*l=48
256/l+2l=48
256+2lsq/l=48
256+2lsq=48 L
(128+Lsq)=24l
Lsq=24l-128
