the ratio of the breadth of a parallelogram to its length is 2:3 .if its perimeter is 120 cm .find the dimensions of a parallelogram​

Perimeter=2(l+b)

B=2x

L=3x

P=120cm

120=2(2x+3x)

120=4x+6x

120=10x

X=12çm

Breadth =24cm

Length=36cm

and breadth = 2x

then length (l)= 3x

We know that perimeter = 2(l+b)

120 = 2(2x+3x)

120 = 4x + 6x

120 = 10x

120/10 = x

12 = x

therefore, x = 12

breadth = 2x = 2*12 =24

length = 3x = 3*12 = 36
