The ratio of the cost prices of articles A and B is 4:
5 respectively and that of their selling prices is 7:6
respectively. If the profit on selling article A is 40%, then
what is the profit / loss percentage on selling article B?​

4x and 5x

A selling price is 4x*1.4=5.6x

B selling price is 5.6x*6/7=4.8x

Loss in B is

5x - 4.8x

10x - 9.6x

100x - 96x
