Step-by-step explanation:

Let the diagonal be 3x and 4x respectively

Perimeter of a rhombus = 4a

20 = 4x

x= 20/4

x= 5

therefore sides are 5cm

A rhombus can be divided into four equal triangle

according to Pythagoras theorem

x^2 = (3x/2)^2 + (4x/2)^2

25= (9(x^2))/4 + (16(x^2))/4

100= (9+16) (x^2)

x^2= 100/25

x^2 = 4

x = 2 cm

therefore diagonals are 6cm and 8cm

Area of a rhombus = 1/2 × 6×8

area= 6×4

area= 24 cm^2 answer
