HI DUDE!!!

YOUR ANSWER IS..

GIVEN:-

the ratio of the equal sides to the base in isosceles triangle=3:1

perimeter=28cm

to find

area of triangle

solution

the equal sides=3x

the base=1x

PERIMETER OF TRIANGLE=Two equal sides+base

                           28cm       =3X+3X+1X

                            28           =7x

                                       x = 4

each equal sides=3x

                           =3×4

                          =12cm

base          =1x

                 =1×4

                 =4cm

we can find area by herons formula

S=half of the perimeter

S=28/2

S=14CM

side A=12,B=12,C=4

HERONS FORMULA=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

                                  =√14(14-12)(14-12)(14-4)

                                  =√14×2×2×10

by taking LCM

area=√2×7×2×2×2×5

 by taking paired numbers out of the root

AREA=2×2√5×7

        =4√35

THE AREA OF TRIANGLE =4√35cm²

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU DUDE!!!!!!
