Ratio of expenditure and savings

= 7 : 3

Expenditure = Rs 6300

7 parts = 6300

1 part = 6300 / 7 = 900

Savings = 3 parts of the income

= 3 × 900

= Rs 2700

Total income = expenditure + savings

= Rs 6300 + Rs2700

= Rs 9000

Therefore,

Total income = Rs 9000
