Hey here is your answer

Your question is :-

The ratio of the height of two cylinders of same base radii is 3:2.Find the ratio of their curved surfaces.

Your answer is :-

Let the height of 1st cylinder = 3x
height of 2nd cylinder = 2x

It is given that radii are same

curved surface area of 1st cylinder = 2πRh
curved surface area of 2nd cylinder = 2πrh

ratio between curved surface areas of both cylinders :-

2πRh / 2πrh

R / r

3x / 2x

3 / 2

3 : 2 answer

Hope this helps you

Hiii There!!!✍️✍️

Here is your answer..........

-----------------------------------
$olution :-

> Let the Height of 1st and 2nd Cylinder be 3x and 2x respectively.......

> So ,
We know that ,
Curved Surface Area of Cylinder is 2πrh .........
let the radius of 1st cylinder be ' R ' and 2nd cylinder be ' r ' .

Now , Curved surface area of 1st cylinder = 2πRh
and
Curved Surface area of 2nd Cylinder = 2πrh

Now,
We have to find the ratios of their curved surface area of both the cylinders.......

So ,
The Ratio between the Cylinder is
= 2πRh / 2πrh
R/ r

3x / 2x

3:2

===================
•••• The ratios of their curved surface is 3 : 2
